I got this and the next 3 in the series for free on amazon when I was randomly looking through what free books were available on amazon and I am so glad I did.
Now I am not usually a fan of books where the heroine ends up being The Chosen One and chock full of awesome unusual powers when she is an embryo compared to the people she is up against.
However this book was just so unapologetically out there ridiculous I did not care.
The heroine Astrid was sarcastically awesome, Ethan the arrogant 500 year old Vampire prince. Then we have a whole cast of awesome secondary characters, such as the Baby Demons, The Kev, Guardian Angel Pam, Gemma and so many more.
It was for me a great read – I can see how the style of it would not be for everyone, but I rarely laugh out loud at books, and this made me do so several times. it was an easy funny, ridiculous read that I hugely enjoyed.
