★Review★

After having had some troubles with the last KA Book, The Will, I was a bit nervous about this book.

I had no need to be, it was awesome!

The Bianchi family had blamed Frankie for the decisions Vinne had made while alive and again for his death. Were they wrong – ofc, but this was their son, their brother and they at the end came from a place of grief and made the wrong move.

I know people have had issues that they did not apologise enough to Frankie, but it was up to her, her play and she forgave them. And let me tell you, if I had done wrong, and knew so, and the person I had done wrong to, found it in themselves to forgive me and tell me to forget it, I would grab that and take it, and by way of apology spend the rest of my life making it up to them. It was quite honest and real, and just highlighted that no one is perfect. Relationships can need work. Blame can be cast on the wrong person – and if that person is willing to forgive, you can bet you would grab that with both hands and never bring it up again. People make mistakes, quite bad ones, and they get any sort of forgiveness, they will grab at it, I know I would.

Imo, actions speak louder than words.

I loved how the relationship progressed – a lot of stuff to work out, emotionally, and practically.

Excellent cameos from previous books, such as Cal and Vi, and Luke!

And as always an excellent epilogue!

The only slight issues, well 2 issues:

1, I sort of expected Frankie to be a jeans and trainers girl, not a heels and short tight dresses at all times girl. It just threw me..

2, the “suspense” part of the plot, I wish had been built up slightly more, and a bit more subtly from earlier in the book. The first part of the book, was a lot of just Frankie and Benny, then the “suspense” part came in, and there was suddenly a lot of extra characters to remember who and why etc.

Oh and also, I cannot get over them being called Frankie and Benny! Is a restaurant chain in the UK! Who are dead to me for having run out of mint on my birthday a couple of years ago when I wanted a birthday mojito! (yes I can hold a grudge!)
