Oh, Bowen MacRieve, my heart broke for him in the last book and I am glad I did not have to wait for his story.
Bowen despise witches and not only that, is in mourning anew for his lost mate. Yet had an undeniable attraction to Mari, a witch so he thinks had bewitched him.
Things do not get off to the best start, at all, but circumstances force them together and they have to decide if they want to give a relationship a go.
Bowen makes some pretty big mistakes, hurting Mari, but I am glad he had made his decisions and was all for Mari, before a big twist.
Bowen is so full of guilt over what he believes is his fault for the death of his mate.
I am not generally a fan of a book where the hero has a dead love, but I loved where and how the author took the story.
