★Review★

Have to be honest I did not really enjoy this as much as the other books i have read by this author. I much preferred the heroes in the other books I have read. The hero here, was a bit much, a bit too bitter, a bit too mean at times and a bit too obsessed with his apparently oversized dick!

However, I did enjoy it, but it just really had to be read with a huge pinch of salt. The way they decide to start on a relationship, the way they talk to each other, Jason being a bit of a huge man child, and the heroine just taking it really.

In all I have enjoyed my previous reads by this author so much more (maybe I just prefer grumpy stern heroes as opposed to bitter heroes), and while I did enjoy this it read a bit different to her previous work for me.

All in an enjoyable 3.5 stars for a book that does not take itself at all seriously, and neither should we as the reader, as that is not what it is. But for me, at times it verged a bit too close to the over the top.

Cheating? – No. However – There are some sex scenes with a couple of other women at the start, before Dom and Mel even really know each other, and a scene toward the end, when Dom and Mel are not together
HEA? – More of a HFN really, as it is left open ended, and their story continues in the second book
Would I read more by this author? – Yes
Rating – 4.5 rounded up to 5 stars.

Main Characters: Elizabeth Williams, a librarian, is drowning her sorrows in a biker bar after her ex and best friend just got married
Ryker, a member of the Four Horsemen MC, takes a liking to her while she is there and finds himself unable to treat her exactly like he normally does women.
Love triangle? – No
Cheating? – No. Although he is dancing with some other women at a biker party at one point, and is a bit of an ass, but for me, that was ok given the story, and how it helped move it forward. Also, they were not in a “proper” relationship as such. And I hate cheating in a book, but no kissing or more happened at all.
HEA? – Yes
Would I read more by this author? – Yes
Rating – 4 stars.
