Now normally I am all about spoilers. I will hunt them down like a bloodhound before I read a book. And there is NOTHING that annoys me more than reviews that are all “oh I will be vague and not give anything away”.
But you know what! I am going to do it!!
I went into this book blind. Only going by the blurb. No idea AT ALL about what it would be about.
And it was amazing. I have read everything Anne Malcom has published, some I enjoyed more than others, but I enjoyed them all. This book? I had no idea she could write something like this.
It was dark, gritty, raw and damn hard to read at times. But it was brilliant. And Beautiful.
I finished this a couple of weeks ago, and immediately had to go and re read 3-4 previous Anne Malcom books that I loved as I was reminded just how genius an author she is.
An amazing 5 stars.
And now I hate myself for doing one of these “you must go into this book blind” reviews, but ah well.
