★Review★

Another great book in this series. Was so happy I got an ARC.

The heroine here was a little bit different. She owned a gun shop, had been home schooled, not really allowed friends, her paranoid parents had “trained” her for any sort of end of the world situation. She was a bit of a hermit and very socially awkward unless she was talking about guns.

And the hero Ian, I had been intrigued by him since the first book. And I loved him here. He was a fire-fighter in an MC and found both these sides of him caused conflict. He felt torn between the two. But what did not cause him conflict, was how much he adored Rory. It soon became obvious just how much he liked her, and had wanted her and waited for her for years.

Again, the story line regarding the body in the lake from book one continues here, with a storyline specific to this book with regards to troubles with the MC.

I am loving this series and it just gets better and better. Interesting, engaging, very different characters in each book so far.

It is building up to be a great romantic suspense series.
