You know when you are reading something it is not working for you, so you check out other reviews hoping it is not just you, and it turns it is sort of it just you!

Yep, that was me reading this book!

It felt so very rushed!

Also it started like this….“Excessive, though impressive, female skin adorn the space…” now, I know what the author was going for, but in my mind I was picturing something else entirely! (horror show anyone!)

As I say, it was so rushed that it was hard to connect to either character so getting to the sex scenes just made me feel cold. I found myself skimming a lot.

And the club, which btw, is supposed to be about “being open and having a safe place” but we will secretly record you and make you freak out, as we just HAVE to give the people watching a show, despite knowing how it will make you feel. Meh!

I just found the whole club thing a bit ridiculous. Now, I have read books before, and they have had kink clubs or BDSM clubs, bit here it just did not come across right to me. All a bit fake.

Editing and formatting wise it was a bit messed up, but I was sort of ignoring it thinking I just got it through netgalley so it may improve, only actually, this book was released ages ago. So it should not have had the issues in it.

like this.

At time, a change of scene or time was made evident by 3 little stars, at others it just ran straight on on the same line. And it was not always obvious when a different character had started speaking. The odd wrong word used, or missed out word, punctuation etc

I mean, all in it was OK, but it was not for me, and I was left a bit…
