This was really quite enjoyable.
It was a fun read with plenty of moments that made me laugh, and I really enjoyed the hero and the heroine.
They both had insecurities, and were trying to make their dream a reality meeting each other at a bad time, and while they live very far apart from each other.
This was very low angst, and it is not a MC romance at all (just in case the title would maybe lead some to believe it might be)
Instead, we get a hero who has his own insecurities, and being in his head, he was a very endearing character. He was not an OTT possessive alpha jerk (as so many heroes seem to portrayed as currently) instead he was a man I enjoyed reading about and spending time in his head.
And the same with the heroine, I truly enjoyed her as a character and I loved the banter between her and the hero.
All in a nice light-hearted romantic read.
A few niggles, it never truly explored in any real depth either of their history. His issues with his parents and hers with her “best” friend, after having caused such hurt to the characters were resolved in a nice pink and tidy bow.
But I will definitely be checking out more by this author.
