I loved this story!
Our heroine Harper has gone through something truly horrific, and is ready to try and move on.
Trent is the guy she goes to to help her. And from there grows an attraction and love that is lovely.
Trent was great, and understanding and patient and loving. Harper, I loved her, so strong to have gone through what she did, and trying to move on and get her life back.
Yes, the story was a bit fast paced, maybe a touch of insta love, but it sort of worked. It was intimate and broke down barriers very quickly, given how they met and what she wanted Trent to do.
All in a lovely story.
However, I did have certain issues with some things. I WANTED some resolution to what happened with her brother. And occasionally, certain things were skipped, and then mentioned later, AS IF I should have read about it, but it was missing. For example, after her first tattoo session, later it is mentioned she contacted him all night, for help and reassurance, but this is just mentioned as an aside later on. And I felt like it should have been included, it was at an important stage in building up their relationship and connection and just felt like it should have been included. And there were a few times I felt this.
But a great 4 star and I am excited to see what else this author can do.
