★Review★

There was something a little different about this book that I really enjoyed in how the story was given to us, given that the hero, in present day, is pretty much talking to us and narrating their history.

It is about Orion and Clo, and how they met at 17, Orion falling instantly in love but losing his chance with Clo, and ending up being her friend and support for years.

It spans about a decade, and we are told their story from meeting right to present day. It was great seeing how their story unfolded and told entirely in Orion’s POV, feeling his hopelessness of ever being more than a friend to Clo.

In saying that, given it was entirely in Orion’s POV, I sometimes found the character of Clo frustrating, and felt at times Orion was too nice, when he should have shouted at her and told her to get over herself years before. I did find myself loving Orion, but feeling almost ambivalent about Clo at times.

But all in it was a lovely story about two people finally finding each other.

Writing wise, it was good, certain things could maybe have been a little neater and tighter, but I would certainly read more by this author
