★Review★

This is the second book in the Tryst Island series, about a group of friends who co own a beach house.

This had a very different feel to it than the first book, which was a friends to lover story, and which I really enjoyed.

This one was more emotional, heartbreaking, romantic.

Both characters were likeable, and you really felt the pain, especially, from Dylan, that had been a big part of their lives for so long.

It is an emotional read, yet has moments of humour and it either had me smiling or almost crying for most of it.

The only issues I had would be needing a bit more from things that are mentioned, such as the issues Dylan had with his brother, that is mentioned in one line, that they had fought and barely spoke. Things like that just leave certain things unanswered for me.

And making the group of friends more likeable (I assume most of them will get a book at some point) but two of Cassie’s friends were rather unlike-able and selfish. And knowing Bella is up next, I am not all fired up to finish her story. (I actually started book 2 before this one, and got about 6% in before I decided to read this one first)
