Command and Control by Shelli Stevens
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this. This is the 2nd in the series and Trevor and Megan were introduced in the first book, which gave a little of their background, so I would recommend reading them in order.
It was believable in how Trevor was portrayed. Their relationship was the main focus of the book, as opposed to outside factors like villains causing conflict which was refreshing. They both had to change and face some fears and realise their relationship could not go back to exactly how it was, as Trevor had changed.
It was a short book, and I feel it could have been longer yet still engaging.
It had some lovely heart-warming moments, you can tell the love the whole family had for each other and how they wanted to help Trevor.
It also had its lighter moments – The stripper and the hen night bit were quite funny. I think it was my favourite bit. I have recently discovered Shelli Stevens, and this is not the first book I have read by her, and doubt it will be the last.
